On Thursday, Dec. 4, Chabad at Albuquerque sponsored a memorial service for the victims of the Thanksgiving terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India. The event was very well attended, Chabad was packed, and there was no parking within three blocks. Several speakers, including Sam Sokolove of the Jewish Federation and City Councilman Rey Garduno, gave interesting and moving talks and there was a video about the people murdered at the Chabad house in Mumbai and the events of the attack. Rabbi Schmuckler of the Albuquerque Chabad was the keynote speaker. He said that good is stronger than evil, and the way to defeat this evil is by an all out attack of mitzvot.
