Latino-Israeli Affairs Officer for the
Israeli Consulate of the Southwest

The Consulate General of Israel has established a department for Latino-Israeli Affairs to strengthen the relations between Israel and the Latino community, Jewish and non-Jewish.

Sofia Perches joined the Consulate General of Israel in May of 2002 as Latino-Israeli Affairs Officer. Ms. Perches is a native of El Paso, Texas, and received her law degree from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. She has studied art history and literature in Spain, international law in Haifa, Israel and worked at the Supreme Court of Argentina in Buenos Aires.
