IN OUR efforts we have a potential ally in China. One of Beijing’s abiding positions is that it opposes UN sanctions on individual states. In the Chinese view, such sanctions diminish national rights to sovereignty. It is on the basis of this claim that China has justified opposing sanctions against rogue states like Iran and North Korea.

Zimra lives in Haresha, in the Shomron. She moved there in 2005, after being expelled from Neve Dekalim in Gush Katif. Now there is another battle…

The ironic thing here is that on one hand, Haresha’s homes are under serious threat of being destroyed and serving as a legal precedent for thousands more homes in Yehuda and Shomron – basically this is disengagement #2.
